Menstruating is not a shame!!

"Recently one of my colleague from my last company called me up and asked me how can you write articles about menstruation so openly and hare it on social sites. Don't you feel ashamed of posting it publicly where all your family and friends see it. I was totally shocked and annoyed at the same time on her foolish remark. Her question actually inflamed me from inside. I was aghast at the fact that how can she give such remark being a girl. I really have empathy for her.

I'm writing this to make her understand why I never felt ashamed of getting periods and talking about it. When I first got my periods, I was terrified and has a question in my mind, why me?? But my mother told me that the start of menstruation is a momentous event in a girl's life. Some girls greet those first drops of blood with joy and relief while others feel bewildered and scared. Getting periods is a proof of becoming a woman. So you feel happy about getting it. Her words made me feel joyous about my periods.
After getting my periods, I felt older because I had been told by my mother that that getting your periods is a sign of maturing. I was growing up. Getting my period was not actually what I thought it would be. I had to learn to deal it and I have. Looking back, one thing about getting periods that I admire is that it is a brigade from adolescence to womanhood. And it is vital to many young girls while growing up.

And I want to pass on the message to all the young girls that your periods turns you into a beautiful and mature woman. I write about menstruation because I don't want it to be a tabooed topic; instead I want it to be taken as normal as other subjects.

I hope you got your answer.

A DREAM

I wrote this poem few years back. But felt like sharing it. So here it goes.....

One night I saw a dream,
I was sitting near a stream,
And was tasting an ice-cream,
The cream fell into the stream,
So I screamed and screamed,
But did not get the cream,
So I ate the ice of an ice-cream,
Sitting on a neem,
So the ice wouldn't fall
in the stream like the cream.
Then I got up and laughed at my dream,
Oh! What a foolish dream.

This poem is dedicated to my mom who actually made me what I'm today. I don't have words to express my gratitude for all those little and big things she did for me and still doing for me. So only 3 words I Love You.

Friends for Life

Shivani.. One of my best friend since graduation days!! Though she always thought of me as an arrogant person with so much of attitude in early college days. But somehow we managed to be friends and today, see, I'm writing something for you! This proves I'm not that bad as you thought of me! :P

I guess we've nothing in common but still we understand each other. She is the only one on whom I've shouted like anything and she used to listen to me and come back to me saying sorry. Also she used to be scared of me whenever she does something wrong. (You don't worry, I'm not gonna write those two incidents). She is the first one whom I call to express myself.

We've so many memories to cherish.. the best  one was our delhi trip.

She is the one whom I can tell anything, who can relate to me like no other, with whom I can cry and laugh my heart out, who can help me solve problems (though most of the time, she  is dependent on me for everything.). She never turned her back on me or told me I wasn't good enough or let me down. I look up to you because she is strong, caring and beautiful, even though you think you're not! And I hope you know I'm always there to listen to you, laugh and cry in all the ways that I can and I will try to be the half of the friend which you're to me. I hope I'm!

I've written something for you...

"When friendship undergo a test,
I often found you're best.
You can change my frown
into a Smile :) when I feel down.
You understand my little trials and lend a hand.
You've always shared my secret dreams.
You're worth more than a gold,
I give you love my heart can hold!!! "

Everyone is gonna kill me after this because I've written something for you!
And don't be flattered after reading this, I'm still gonna abuse you, scold you and many more!

P.S : Now you should also write something for me so that I also get little flattered!!

PROMISE YOURSELF

GIRLS...... GOD DIDN'T PROMISE US ANYTHING! SO WE NEED TO "PROMISE OURSELVES" THAT "WE WILL KEEP OUR SPIRITS ALWAYS ON"..

Promise yourself
To be so strong
that can disturb
your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness & prosperity
To every person you meet.
To make all your friends
feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything
and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, To work only for the best,
and to expect only the best.
To be enthusiastic about the success of others
as you're about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and look on to
greater achievements of future.
To wear a cheerful continuance at all times and give every
living creature you meet a smile :)
To give so much time to improvement of yourself
that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, and too noble for anger,
too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble...

Fading Innocence & Strengthening Emotions!

The journey from childhood to adulthood experiences many minutes change, be it in age, intelligence level or... facial expressions and innocence. These changes aren't usually noticeable unless we divide the journey in different age-groups and compare each with a careful eye.
Babies are called angels of God, a message of peace and love. Glittering innocence of their eyes convey what thousand words cannot. Million dollar smile on their faces can melt the coldest of hearts. They know nothing about the rules of the world when they first open their eyes in their mother's lap, all they know then, is the proximity of their near-n-dear ones.

"Thank you God for this unspeakable gift,
Because it makes up for any rift.
The innocence and charm on its face makes
                             a family and brings solace."
                              [First Step Towards Learning]

Tiny shoulders of these tiny-tots now bear the burden of satchel. With curiosity in their heart they head towards school on their wobbly feet to learn the ABC of life, though unwillingly.Once out of their mother's lap, a whole new environment of school teaches them some unlearned rules of the world. The school going kid is no longer such a dependent child and to know many new things.

"Unwillingly to go to school to study,
the mother herself in a lot of worry
Though the burden of the bag increases,
                        the knowledge increases simultaneously."
[Ready To Take The World By Storm]

The gateway of adolsence awaits the children of this age.Their bubbly nature attracts attention of everyone around and enjoy it to the hilt. Their face reflects more naughtiness than innocence. Daydreaming and posing like adult is a characteristic that marks this age. This is an age when the child looks up to someone as a role model, be it his/her own parents or some celebrity. The kid also imitates every action of its ideal. Moreover, he/she gets to know the world better.

                      "The whiz kids-in-making
                      Find every new thing tempting,
                       The carefree phase relaxes them
                      And playful innocence gets polishing."
                        "Generation Next"
[No Prize For Guessing It's The Teenagers]

Heart rules the head, the youth now have a distinct personality, shaped according to their surroundings. This is the age where they start adding layers of pretension to their personality. Hollow expressions dominate original ones. Masked face and hollow laugh is the stark reality of this age. They kiss their innocence good bye and drastic change can be seen in their personality; though they are quite receptive to the worl and take interest in every aspect of practical life.

" Masking emotions with a perfect face
                          Else a plastic smile dominates,
Intelligence gets a boost in them,
Heart rules head but can't emancipate."
"WHEN EVEN A WOMAN TURNS INTO A MACHINE-MAN"

Head dominates heart. It is the time when they are more determined about their future and start organising their life in a more systematic way. They are more mechanical and eventually immerse themselves in this superficial worl. They start moulding themselves in this superficial world. They start moulding themselves in a better way so that they can face any unexpected challenge or hurdle awaiting them in their near future. Responsibility reflects on their faces and "to do something" become a mantra.

" Reality strikes and not illusion,
A will to do everything in proportion,
                       Tag of independence gets attached
With a clear mind without confusion."
                                  "AT THE ZENITH"

Machine man eventually transforms into a family man- Mr. Depednable. Air of responsibility envelopes the people at this stage and their priorities change. They work harder and try to reach the zenith of their career [According to a research made, it has been found out that the people in the age-group of 30-35 years, are more restless than they are even in their whole lives]. Their faces reflect aggressiveness and impatience to reach their goal and at the same time responsibility towards their families is evident in their actions.

" With loads of responsibilities on their back
                          precautions to save their sack.
Being on the zenith of their career,
They can't afford to just sit back."

Eating Etiquettes

Eating etiquette is one of the most important etiquettes in modern time. Often this goes unseen. Very few people, especially in India has the proper knowledge of various eating etiquettes. Proper eating etiquettes make your host happy and the dinner or lunch go smoothly.

Removing napkin, use of forks and other such things are very normal while hearing but are very important. Keeping in mind few basic things, we can enhance our eating etiquettes .

Some of the few basic etiquettes are as follows:

One should always remember to remove the napkin from its place setting, unfold it, and put it in their lap. Your napkin should rest on your lap till the end of the meal. If you want to ecuse yourself from the table, loosely fold the napkin and place it in the left or right of your plate. At the end of the meal, leave the napkin semi=folded at the left side of the place setting. You should not crumple it.

One should wait until everyone at the table are served before they begin to eat. Always eat to your left and drink to your right which means any food dish to the left is yours and any drink to the right is yours.

There are two ways of using fork & knife… American style &Continental or European Style.

American Style: One should hold knife in the right hand and fork in the left. After a few bite – sized pieces of food are cut, then knife should be placed on edge of the plate with blades facing in. And then eat food by switching fork to right hand. Always remember that a left hand, arm or elbow on the table is counted in bad manners.

European Style: Hold knife in right hand and fork in left hand. The only difference is there is no switching of utensils. You eat food with the fork in your left hand only. When you take a drink, you do not just put your knife down but both the utensils into resting position, crossing the fork over knife. Once used, your utensils must not touch the table again. Always rest forks, knives & spoons  on the side of your plate in the 4:20 position.

There are few basic things which everyone should remember while eating in a group:

You shouldn’t talk with food inside your mouth. This is very rude.

One should never blow on their food to cool it off, if it is too hot to eat. Wait until it cools.

You should always eat in small bites and slowly.

One should always eat a little of everything on their plate. Never forget to compliment food. And if you don’t like the food and fell unable to compliment, its better to keep silent. If the food served is not of your liking, it is polite to at least attempt to eat a small amount of it.

Loud eating noises such as slurping and burping are very impolite.

Always remember to turn off your cell phone or switch it to silent or vibrate mode before sitting down to eat.

Keeping these basic things in mind while going out for a lunch or dinner will leave you a good impression.

Are we really Independent????

We're celebrating 67th year of our Independence but are we really independent?

We're slaves of caste system, dowry system, corruption, poverty, to name few!!

Poverty in India is demystifying. Though its a strange fact that the richest person of this world belongs to India but still India is a poor country. People below poverty line are even struggling to fulfill their basic needs to survive. Poverty is discouraging development in India.

The other major enemy of growing India is caste system. People support those of their castes. They vote according to their castes because of which our country's political system is highly discouraging. People are being killed on the name of castes.

Dowry system is another major drawback behind the deteiorating status of women. Thousands of women are being killed every year on the name of dowry. I'm amazed at the fact that even educated people like doctors, engineers ask heavy amount of dowry. Our India would never be developed without women.

Corruption, the most rapidly growing disease of our country which will never let our country to be called as "Independent". It resides everywhere. And the common people are the worst sufferers.

Last but absolutely not the least is our political system. Our honorable leaders are the height of hypocracy. They do nothing for country but are busy with their plannings for the so called satta. For instance, few days back Pakistani army killed our army men brutally but our honorable PM has not come up with any strict statement.
In spite of these I still believe that we the Young India will come forward and make our country independent in real sense and will leave a prosperous country for our next generation where there will be peace, love & brotherhood.

Its time to think and act accordingly!!!

Menstruation & Problems Associated!!!

http://menstrupedia.com/blog/caring-for-your-adolescent-daughters/
My article for menstrupedia blog!!!

Adolescent years are always difficult for both parents and their children alike. All the several changes that take place during puberty are a matter of great concern for most parents and quite a shocking and surprising affair for all adolescents who undergo various emotional, psychological and physical changes during this period. During their children’s puberty, parents and mothers in particular, have an important role to play. Mothers have to deal with their daughter’s stress, irritability, anxiousness and many other issues.
There are a gamut of issues with regard to menstruation, from physiological causes/effects to cultural taboos and traditions, the role of social history and other related ethical concerns. I am addressing here, the problems a girl faces during her menstruation. Disorders related to menstruation are among the most common problems encountered in women’s’ health and include early, delayed and irregular
menstrual cycles, early menopause, painful menses and excessive menstrual bleeding. Their treatment presents a variety of complex challenges, especially since some of the treatments used can themselves result in further menstrual and hormonal complications. For a girl, getting her periods for the first time is a physical milestone and marks the beginning of her ‘becoming a woman’. They often tend to experience certain symptoms before their periods or during their periods. These are called ‘Premenstrual Symptoms’. Some of the common physical and emotional symptoms that many females display before their periods are as follows:
1.Acne
2. Bloating
3. Fatigue
4. Backaches
5. Sore breasts
6. Food cravings
7. Feeling under the weather
8. Irritability
9. Feeling tense or anxious
Although these symptoms are not harmful per se, they can cause certain problems if not taken care of for a long time. If a girl is getting depressed or irritated, then her family needs to be able to understand her. They need to talk to her about periods and its symptoms. They need to tell her that it is a monthly occurrence and make her understand that it is part of the process of turning into a beautiful woman from a small little girl.
Cramps and delayed menarche are other problems which are experienced during periods. Abdominal cramps are normal during the first few days but if it continues for more than three days, then you may need to consult a doctor. Delayed  enarche is not something to get very worried about. If your daughter is a ‘Late Bloomer,’ it does not necessarily mean that there is something wrong with her. It
depends a lot on genetics for instance. Girls often start menstruating at approximately the same age
their mothers or grandmothers did. If she does not get her periods till the age of fifteen, then it would be advisable to visit a doctor.
There are certain other problems related to menstruation which are as follows:
1. Amenorrhea (The absence of periods): It can be caused due to a genetic abnormality, a hormonal imbalance or a problem with the way the reproductive organs have developed. Other causes can be stress, significant weight gain or loss, thyroid conditions or ovarian cysts.
2. Menorrhagia (Extremely heavy, prolonged periods): It is normal for periods to be heavier on some days than on others but signs of Menorrhagia can include soaking through at least one sanitary napkin an hour for several hours in a row or periods that last for longer than seven days. It can be caused by polyps in the uterus, thyroid conditions, clotting disorders, inflammation or infection in the vagina or cervix.
3.Dysmenorrhea (Painful periods): Having cramps for a day or two each month is common, but if your daughter has symptoms severe enough to prevent her from going about her normal activities or has cramps that last for more than three days, then you need to check with your doctor.
To summarize, if your daughter displays the following symptoms, it is advisable to consult a doctor:
1. If she has not started her period by the time she is fifteen or if her periods have not become regular after three years of menstruating.
2. If she stops getting her periods or if it becomes irregular after it has been consistently regular prior to it.
3. If she has heavy or long periods for around seven or eight days or if she gets her periods very frequently – every fifteen days for instance.
4. If she has very painful periods. Having an abdominal cramp for the first one and half days is quite normal but if it continues for more than two days and keeps your daughter away from her day-to-day work, then it is reason enough to be concerned.

Hobby.... A Way To Stay Refreshed!!

Hobby is defined as a regularly undertaken activity that is done for pleasure, especially during one's leisure time. By continually participating in a particular hobby, one can acquire substantial skill & knowledge in that area. There are n numbers of activities like outdoor activity, performing arts, creative activity which can be pursued in one's leisure time. And if taken seriously and practiced genuinely, these hobbies may help you in earning as well. A person who engages himself in an activity solely for fun is called an amateur. On the other hand one who engages himself in an activity for remuneration is known as professional. So your hobby is a great way to earn money as well as pleasure while doing the work. An amateur can turn into a very good professional and expert in his field because of his rigourous practice & the involved pleasure in doing that work. And it's been said that you can only perform and excel when you like what you do.
Outdoor activities include gardening, watersports, fishing, basketball. These outdoor activities will not keep you only fit, but also refreshed. Often outdoor activities like various sports teaches team building, team work, positivity, help us to be dynamic.
Performing arts like singing, acting, magic, dancing, playing musical instrument can give you name & fame if proper training is taken. Often these arts are the way to feel your soul, to get connected with your inner self.
These arts gives you peace and you feel energetic.
Creative activities like photography, movie making, painting, writing, jewellery making etc gives your chance to explore your imagination and thoughts. You can express your feeling & thoughts through your photography, short stories. These activities, if taken seriously and done passionately can earn you money & fame as well.

For me, hobby is an activity, my interest, enthusiasm undertaken for pleasure & relaxation. It's an opportunity to pursue my passion & interests in my leisure time. Though I've never thought of turning my hobby into my profession. But I love reading, writing, cooking, dancing, and many more. My hobbies give me a positive energy whenever i feel low.

These days we often complain that modern life has become stressful. But we never gave it a thought why it has become so stressful instead of having so many amenities. It's because we often spend our leisure time camped out in front of the TV or computer. We pass our free time laying on the couch. We never take pain of going outside and interact with people, do what we like.
People don't take hobbies seriously. But hobbies can bring us joy, keep our mind fresh, expand our creativity and most importantly rejuvenated. Those who feel depressed & apathetic, it's because of lack ofhaving something that they feel passionate about.

So I suggest give some time to your hobby and then feel the difference...!!!

Amrita Thakur @ Lakme Fashion Week

The designers who are showcasing their designs need to prepare a lot. They have to take care of smallest thing because if they miss out even a single thing, it can result into a disaster. They have to hunt for models who can actually showcase their designs perfectly, the make-up artists who will give those models a look which can actually go with the clothing and then the practice session as to when to take a turn, when to pause and so many such things. It's quite a hectic thing. But when you get the applause, everything seems so perfect and all the hard work is paid off!!
Usually we see emergence of trends, design, couture, expression & style....!!!!

Essential But Impure... Irony of Menstruation!!!

http://menstrupedia.com/blog/irony-of-menstruation-essential-but-impure/
My article for menstrupedia blog!!!

Menstruation is defined as the periodic shedding of the uterine lining (endometrium). The first menstruation marks the onset of sexual maturity, in females of certain mammal species, and ceases at menopause (commonly considered the end of a female’s reproductive phase of life).
About 50% of human race experiences menstruation yet the topic is hushed down and is choke full of myths and taboos.
Some of the myths & facts are as follows:
  •  Menstruating women need to be in bed, or avoid strenuous activity. But the fact is that instead of worsening the situation, exercise can help with the symptoms. Generally, Women are not weaker during menstruation, unless they have anemia, which might result from an abnormal loss of blood during menstruation.
  •  A woman shouldn’t have sex while having their periods. If both partners are willing, there is no medical reason not to indulge in sexual activity. In fact  orgasm can sometimes relieve cramps.
  • A bath causes or worsens menstrual cramps. But in fact, a warm bath can soothe & relax muscles, reducing pain.
  •  A very common myth is that menstrual blood smells bad.But in reality, the blood on pads & tampon develop foul smell because of the bacteria that builds up.
In many households, women are not allowed to enter the kitchen, nor allowed to have sex with her husband while menstruating. She has to sleep separately from her family and has to keep her clothes during her periods separate from other laundry. In many religions, women are not allowed to enter or attend any auspicious occasions while menstruating.
I don’t understand why people still believe in such absurdities. On one hand we are living in the 21st century and preaching gender equality while on the other, we practice many menstrual myths and are guilty of spreading the myths. Ironically, if a woman menstruates, she is deemed impure and if she doesn’t get periods, she is considered unfortunate as she wouldn’t be able to bear a child. Either way it’s degrading to a woman’s status.
Menstruation brings with it many uncomfortable physical & psychological changes like water retention, change in sex drive and nausea in girls and women. And at a time when they need to be made aware about menstruation and be provided with care and understanding, unwillingness by teachers to discuss menstruation on the pretext of limited time for covering the syllabus, vague instructions leading to misconceptions, presence of peers in group learning make the matter worse and fuel a negative perception of menstruation in not only males but even in females.
Naturally in such a case the mother needs to be the primary teacher for educating her daughter about menstruation. She should be very open to her daughter and should explain her everything about periods so that the daughter doesn’t get baffled on getting her first period. She should inculcate positivity about the process of menstruation. Some women experience emotional disturbances or mood swings during their periods. Here a husband should to be more understanding, should stand by his wife and should make her feel loved and wanted instead of alienating her while following the age old menstrual myths and taboos.
I have always honoured my menstruation instead of being ashamed of it. Even though I get mild to severe cramps leading to sometimes much inconvenience, I never hate my periods. How can a woman hate it when they know that menstruation is the testimony of their special ability to give birth to a life. The feeling of being able to bring new life to this world is amazing and it is this feeling that makes me a woman. And I owe this feeling to my menstruation.
I would like to urge all those men who find menstruation impure, that because your better halves menstruate you can look forward to your coming generation. In Hinduism, we worship Goddess Durga who is a symbol of power and still we see girls as the weaker sex. We worship Goddess Lakshmi who is a symbol of prosperity and still we forbid women from their day-to-day chores during their menstruation. We worship Goddess Saraswati for knowledge. And for those who don’t know, the literal translation of “Saraswati” is “flow-woman”. So think before you disregard women during their periods.
I feel the Menstrual Blood is the symbol of new life & a Menstruating Woman  is sacred & powerful.

Fashion Through My Frame!!!

Fashion is a general term for a popular style or practice, esp. in clothing, footwear, accessories, make-up, furniture to home decors. Fashion industry is a product of modern age. Trends, design, couture, expression, style & ethnicity are the major aspects & emergence of fashion and its events.
I personally believe that  trend should be bold, ethnic & classy; Design should be asthetic, artistic & standway; Couture should be elegant, austere & Sexy; Expression should be graphic, colourful, & bold and of course Style should be contemporary with modern touch.
There are trend setters whom we call "Fashion Icons". They are those who actually starts a fashion trend before most of the other people. These trend setters always start trends which actually suits them & represents them. Again there are two section of trend followers. One group always follow the trend or their "Fashion Icon" blindly where sometimes they start following wrong trend for themselves. Everybody should follow such trends and wear such clothes, and accessories which they can carry and feel confident in it!
If I've to define my state of fashion in just one word then it should be "Individualistic", which actually defines me & my behaviour. I may have clothes that are same as other people, but  when I wear it, I make them totally my own.
One should always dress-up according how they feel like, how they fancy themselves. Your dressing should always match your behaviour. It reflects your personality and it's a famous saying, "First impression is the last impression". And how you look is your first impression. No matter what brand, design you wear, but until & unless you're not confident in it, it will make you look dumb.
After all Fashion is to be seductively fleeting. And remember Beauty is always enjoyed when appreciated!!!!!

Gender Inequality!

For ages it was believed that the different characteristics, roles and status accorded to women and men in society. All these ge determined by sex, that they're natural and therefore not changeable. Gender is seen closely related to the roles and behaviour assigned to women and men based on their sexual differences. As soon as a child is born, families & society begin the process of gendering. The birth of the son is celebrated the birth of daughter filled in pain; sons are showered with love, respect, better food and proper health care.
Boys are encouraged to be tough and outgoing; girls are encouraged to be homebound and shy. All these gender difference is created by society.
Gender inequality dwells not only outside the household but also centrally within it. This is due to its socio-economic & religious practices that resulted in wide gap between the position of men & women in the society. In childhood, a female is subject to her father, in youth to her husband, when her husband is dead to her sons; a women is never independant. She has got no identity of herself. Women's lives are shaped by customs that are centuries old.
"May you be the mother of hundred sons" is a common Hindu wedding blessing. My question is why the women are not being given blessing to have a baby girl. After all they will be the one who will carry your family forward. In Hindu mythology, it is believed that your son can only carry your family's name & generation. Because of which there is a widespread practice of aborting female foetuses. Even in Islam women don;t  have equal rights to make independant decisions about choice of partner' getting a divorce, & custody of their children. Though The Quran views women and men to be equal in human dignity. People take help of their respective religion for gender inequality. But it's not the religion, but the creepy people, their own-made society & laws who draw such disgusting lines between the two gender. Every religion, be it Hinduism, Islam, Christianity or any other is pure & sacred and gives the message of love, peace, humanity & equality.
A son is never told to behave but a daughter is always bombarded with enormous do's & don't's ! Often parents or some family members are heard saying their daughter, don't go outside in evenings or don't wear such clothes. It may catch people's eye. I don't understand why can't you tell your son that don't do any immoral or inhumane behavior. By putting such creepy laws & restrictions on women, you're not only disrespecting one particular woman but the womb from where you came out into this beautiful world, which you want to make hell for woman just to satisfy your own male ego.
It has adverse impact on development, goal as reduces economic growth. It is common to find girls & women suffering from high morality rates. It hampers the overall well being because blocking women from participation in social, political & economic activities can adversely affect the whole society.

Happy Women's Day!

Women..... The Most Beautiful Creation of God!
You can feel her INNOCENCE in the form of a Daughter; feel her CARE in the form of a Sister; feel her WARMTH in the form of a Friend; feel her PASSION in the form of a Beloved; feel her DEDICATION in the form of a Wife; feel her DIVINITY in the form of a Mother; feel her BLESSING in the form of a Grandmother.
She is tough, tender, naughty, charming, sharing, melodious.... She is one's biggest critic, cheer leader, support, guide & friend at the same time. She plays enormous role in her life.. like she is a mother, sister, daughter, teacher, wife, beloved, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, mother-in-law...
She is there to cook for you when you're hungry; she is there to encourage you when you're feeling low; she is there to cheer you up when you're sad; she is there to give you her shoulder to cry; she is there to save you when you're in a problem; she is there to stand by you when nobody stands by you; she is there to share your secrets, pain & happiness. She is there with you in her different role.
Women are the important component of our society, not merely the object of twisted desire. She is a symbol of shakti, strength, love, compassion & dignity. She is being referred as "The Prestige of her House" (Ghar Ki Izzat). She is the pride of her father, brother, beloved & husband.

A Note on Pakistan's Coward Act!

The Indian Army exists to protect and defend Indian boundaries. Whoever I repeat whoever tries to encroach upon them or harm Indian interests is an ENEMY. Be it Pakistan, China, Bangladesh or Afghanistan.

We DONOT love our enemies. Period.

Request all so called nationalists who are dripping with compassion for Pakistan to wake out of their slumber. India is NOT the big brother of Pakistan. They chose to separate and today they are choosing to destroy us.

Wake up…Pakistan is not like the prodigal son who has lost his way and will mend his ways. We don’t need to open heartedly accept their atrocities as mere follies. Pakistan has bereaved Mother India of her two brave sons. Which mother will forgive such an onslaught on her children? Are we supposed to welcome Pakistani Bullets with Roses??????

In this cowardly act of Pakistan, India has yet another opportunity to eliminate this "international migraine" from the face of earth. Sadly, India is lead by a bunch of spineless people with no decision making capability. All said and done the death of two of our soldiers must be avenged!

Will there be protests to demand action against the propagators of such barbarism? Are we waiting for Pakistan to completely annihilate our army before we respond?
